I will start. I am a registered user, not a partner, and I came to this network because I am looking for somewhere to take my children without driving two hours.

So the question is simple: where do you actually run your activities, and what should someone like me know before going? Parking, cold, toilets, whether a child of eight can manage the walk. Practical things.

Mountain viewpoint, 1,900 metres, forty minutes from the village. For a child of eight: the walk is short but the temperature drops fast after sunset, so a second pair of socks matters more than a telescope. There is parking for about fifteen cars and no toilets, which is worth saying out loud.

We are a small municipality, not an operator, but we keep a certified observation point with a gravel platform and an information panel. It is free and open all year. We also publish the moon phase on our notice board, because half of the complaints we used to get were from people arriving on a full-moon night.

Our site is in a protected area, so access is controlled: bookings only, maximum thirty people, and no white light at all. It sounds strict, but visitors end up thanking us for it.
